Mission

WMF protects and expands access to abortion for individuals living in poverty in Southeastern Pennsylvania through direct service and community organizing. We provide emergency financial assistance to those who have made the decision to terminate a pregnancy but are prevented from using their insurance and cannot afford an abortion. We also organize supporters, clients, and the general public to fight to lift the bans on insurance coverage for abortion and eradicate other barriers.

 Aid Access is the private initiative of Dr Rebecca Gomperts,  

It consists of committed team of doctors, activists and advocates for abortion rights. The purpose of the website and the service is to create social justice and improve the health status and human rights of women who do not have the possibility of accessing local abortion services.

Women’s human rights are compromised and violated around childbirth. Everybody working in maternity care shares a common goal: healthy mothers, and healthy babies. Governments, NGOs, and providers are working around the world to help ensure that every woman and baby survives birth.
